Toriyama's Naming Rules, Reverse-Engineered
Akira Toriyama named almost everyone in Dragon Ball as a pun, and each race has its own theme. Saiyans are vegetables — the race name itself is an anagram of yasai, Japanese for vegetable. Namekians are instruments and snails (Namek comes from namekuji, slug). Frieza's family runs on refrigeration, and the Majin line all comes from one Cinderella incantation. This generator follows those exact rules instead of producing generic fantasy names, so its output sounds like it belongs in the series.

Tips for Picking an OC Name
The best fan-character names pass the “shout test” — two syllables land harder in a fight scene (Broly, Cabba, Kale) while three-syllable names read more regal (Paragus, Caulifla). Keep the vegetable recognizable but not obvious: Kakarot is a better pun than “Carrot” because it bends the word just far enough.
