What Is My Hunter Rank?

In Solo Leveling, every hunter is graded by the mana they awaken — and the whole world runs on that letter. This Solo Leveling hunter rank generator answers the only question that matters to a fan: what is my hunter rank?Type your name and it hashes into a stable seed, then rolls your Hunter Rank, your hunter class, a full stat block, and — the part everyone actually wants — your own shadow army. The same name always awakens the same hunter, so your S-Rank claim can be checked on the spot, and your friend's can be exposed.

The Hunter Ranks, Weakest to Strongest

Ranks run E, D, C, B, A and S, and a hunter can broadly clear gates of their own rank or below — which is why an unattended S-Rank gate is a national emergency. Above the official ladder sit the National-Level Hunters(roughly five in the world, each able to decide a nation's fate) and, past even them, the Monarchs — apex rulers of the magic beasts. The generator weights its roll to match that scarcity: most names land E through S, a rare few awaken as National-Level, and the Monarch tier is vanishingly rare. The table below is built from the exact same canon data the generator uses.

Your Hunter Class

A rank tells you how strong you are; your hunter classtells you how you fight. There are six, and the generator assigns you one alongside your rank — it also biases your stat block toward that class's strengths, so a Mage reads high on Intelligence and Mana while a Tanker piles into Vitality and Strength. Healers are the rarest and most fought-over class in the series; Sung Jinwoo began as an Assassin before he became something the system had no name for.

The six hunter classes

ClassFocus statsRole
FighterSTR + VITFront-line melee combatant — the most common class, built on raw strength and stamina.
MageINT + MPWields elemental and arcane magic from range, trading durability for devastating spellpower.
HealerSENSE + MPThe rarest and most sought-after class — keeps a raid party alive with restorative magic.
AssassinAGI + SENSEStrikes from the shadows with unmatched speed and precision. Sung Jinwoo began here.
TankerVIT + STRThe immovable wall — soaks punishment and holds the line so the party can fight.
RangerAGI + SENSEAgile ranged specialist — bows, guns and thrown weapons, deadly at a distance.

The six canonical hunter classes. Your rolled class skews your stat block toward its focus stats.

Arise: Your Shadow Army

The signature power of the story is the Shadow Monarch's army, and this generator gives every hunter their own — scaled to rank. An E-Rank commands a literal handful; an S-Rank fields hundreds; a Monarch rules an army in the tens of thousands. Higher ranks also unlock named shadow soldiers straight from canon — Igris the Blood-Red Commander, Beru the Ant King, the wyvern Kaisel, and at the very top Bellion, the sole Grand-Marshal. Frequently Asked Questions

What are the hunter ranks in Solo Leveling?

Hunters are graded by the mana they awaken, from weakest to strongest: E, D, C, B, A and S-Rank. Above the official scale sit the National-Level Hunters — only about five exist in the world, each powerful enough to sway a nation — and, beyond even them, the Monarchs, apex rulers of the magic beasts. A hunter can generally clear gates and dungeons of their own rank or lower, which is why an S-Rank gate breaking open is treated as a national emergency.

What is an S-Rank hunter?

An S-Rank is the highest officially recognised hunter rank — the apex of registered hunters, so rare and so strong that a single one is treated as a strategic weapon. Canon S-Ranks include Cha Hae-In, Baek Yoonho of the White Tiger Guild, the fire mage Choi Jong-In, healer Min Byung-Gu, and Go Gunhee, chairman of the Korean Hunters Association. Sung Jinwoo is publicly registered as an S-Rank, though his true power as the Shadow Monarch is far beyond the scale.

What are the six hunter classes?

Every hunter also has a class describing how they fight: Fighter (front-line melee), Mage (ranged spellcaster), Healer (the rarest and most valued class), Assassin (fast, stealthy strikers — the class Sung Jinwoo started as), Tanker (defensive walls that hold the line), and Ranger (agile ranged attackers). This generator rolls one of these six for you alongside your rank.

What is a National-Level Hunter?

A National-Level Hunter is a hunter whose power exceeds the S-Rank measuring scale entirely — strong enough to change the fate of a nation single-handedly. Only about five exist worldwide, including Thomas Andre (the USA’s strongest), Liu Zhigang of China, Christopher Reed, and Siddharth Bachchan of India. They are deployed against the threats no ordinary S-Rank can survive, such as Red Gates and dungeon breaks.

Is this hunter rank generator canon-accurate?

The ranks, the six classes, the notable hunters and the named shadow soldiers are all straight from Solo Leveling canon (sourced from the Solo Leveling Wiki), and the reference tables below list them exactly. The rank you personally roll, your stat block and your shadow army are a labelled fan mechanic seeded from your name — a bit of fun, not an official power reading. What is fixed is that the same name always produces the same result, so you can compare with friends.
