The Right Break at the Right Moment

Every teacher knows the two moments: the post-lunch slump when thirty heads droop in unison, and the post-recess storm when nobody can find their chair. They need opposite medicine — that is why the first filter here is not “what game?” but what does the room need? Wake up deals movement: freeze dance, cross crawls, the rock–paper–scissors championship. Calm down deals stillness: box breathing, the 5-4-3-2-1 senses check, a silent minute.
